Sinister: a bit of a weird post I'm afraid. Sorry.

Hello sinipeople,

Hmmm, two posts in three days - I must be bored. Oh yeah, I'm 'unemployed'.
I really should get a job, instead of just getting these letters back
telling me to piss off.

Anyway, Clarke, Sarah J (EU) wrote a fine post I thought. More incediary
anti-twee ramblings along those and Ken's lines would be good I think, but
then again perhaps that would be better suited on a Clash list, or on a list
where everybody is a maths teacher who thinks it's cool to own three
post-1998 albums ;o) Sorry. Anwyay...

Thanks for that Stu. If the Owls were a better team, they wouldn't be in,
what is it now? Div2? Anyway...

I bought the new Alpha EP today (called South), primarily because it has a
quality track with the mighty Jarve C on vocals. The rest of it is alright -
worth £2.99 of anybody's money. Also, I don't know if anyone else got it,
but in the Sunday Times yesterday was a free four-track Elvis cd, and I have
to say this: the last track is just fantastic. It's called "I Just Can't
Help Believin'", and it's perfect. A bit of it sounds really like B&S too, I
think - all handclaps and brass. But most people will prolly disagree. Oh
well...

This weekend was fun. I met up with another listee, who some or fewer of you
may have seen me having fun with at TigerMilking, and we went to
CasinoRoyale at the Barfly. The ex-guitarist from Menswe at r was dj-ing in
between denying his former career, and we danced maniacally to "Can You Dig
It" by The Mock Turtles. Then Sunday I booked my tickets to the Albert Hall
gig. Bonza.

Oh yeah, people were talking about a picnic on the Friday before the Albert
Hall gig. I think this is a fab idea, primarily because I suggested it on
Saturday in my last post. But seriously, I don't mind being picnic mummy if
someone has to be thrust into the limelight. I suppose I should contribute a
bit more to this list apart from ***obviously*** my sparkling posts. So
yeah, mail me if you're interested, and I'll try and sort something out.

Um, I can't really think of anything else to write, and I'm missing
Neighbours (it's Madge's funeral)* so I'll go...

love to all, but more to some than others...**

S.x

*apologies to US listees who are about 5 years behind on Neighbours if I've
ruined it.

**purely because I know some of you better than I know others.
