Sinister: summer wasting!

the advent of summer here (well it looked like it 'till today) caused me to
hand in my notice of my crappy tax old collecting job. i lasted 5 months -
impressive staying power - but writing threatening letters while looking out
over sunny lawns didn't seem a possibility for any longer at all.

(has anyone noticed that there is a faint smell of b.o. everywhere? and its
definitely not me)

as a free agent i'm going to do some voluntary work (unless i get a good
job) and a fair amount of lounging. i reckon i can afford 6 weeks of this
before i'm forced back to the real world. 18 months of scrimping for 6 weeks
leisure? its a tough world where money really is too important.

anyway, i'll be free for the whole b +s tour, which is already creating
probs. my chum i was going with has booked a holiday in france during the
tour - my sleeping space in london has been taken over, and i'm not going to
believe its all true until my tickets arrive (standing!).
is anyone planning a cliff richard style summer holiday in a bus around all
the venues? it really should be done - maybe with a convoy of vehicles...

on the bright side my local shops foolish overstocking of easter eggs means
i STILL have a half price supply of chocolate lovelies.

sorry about the footie list - i'm up in nottingham and can't travel
regularly.

i heartily agree with sam's post - top elvis cd with the sunday times. (but
wasn't can u dig it by pop will eat itself?)

a pre albert hall picnic seems a must - i'll be there .
