do people actually read ghormenghast? isn't it, well, we struggled with
the hobbit and made a start on the lord of the rings and all this way of
describing the world in terms of castles became a little boring? I
haven't read Pynchon or Proust Either. Proust Either gives gardening
advice on my own imaginary TV channel. I did read Coover's Pinocchio in
Venice, which took me about a year and a half, in which I am delighted
to discover about the nocturnal habits of dogs and the renaissance in
general
Maybe my post is too short
Today I do less well than other days.. this is life

affectionately yours
