Sorry - two points of clarification.

These lines are from a poem called 'Instructions For Living' by Dean
Young.

My comment was based upon a cover of 'A Chicken With Its Head Cut Off'.
Does 'Chicken In A Bucket' also feature a singer with a southern drawl?
The same one?

Kate and Anna McGarrigle have a fantastic song about Southern Boys. But I
guess it only applies, if at all, if even in part, south of the Mason
Dixon line.

Hooray for sulky waitress friends!
