Sinister: Lisbon

Hi,
I've spent the summer lurking but as the release date
of the new B&S album is approaching I rise above the
lurking surface for this small call for help.

The thing is that a friend of mine is going to Lisbon 
in about two weeks and is planning to stay there 
for 5 months (to study).

If I'm not mistaken there are some Portugeese people 
on this list.

The thing is that he doesn't really have a place to
stay in Lisboa. So if anybody has a flat or anything
to rent for the next 5 month that would make my friend
extremely happy. But I guess that's a bit of a high aim.
So I'm also asking if there is anybody who could recommend
a cheap and good youth hostel in Lisboa (preferable near the Eduardo 
VII park) where my friend could stay for the first few days 
when he looking for a more permanent place to stay.
