Sinister: Camera Obscura in the US! Next week! Go!

Hello People
I'm 19 and from england and happen to be in the us for a month and in 
chicago for a few days. I saw Ian's email and thought it would be exciting 
to go see this band I like. But for any gig in at least this state, I guess 
in bars, you have to have ID saying you're at least 21. So I got turned 
away. This just seems really outrageous to me. I can't see any rational 
really as theres lots of money to be made, it just seems oppressive.
I don't have much to say except I was disappointed, american policy is 
stupid and if I ever tour the US I'll try and do a few gigs in cafes or 
somewhere younger people can get in,
