hello all!

here is just a quick post to say hello.  I am still looking for ideas for a 
midwest meet up so if anyone lives or will be visiting in the next couple of 
months let me know.  in other news...

If anyone has yet to listen to the band The Arcade Fire do yourselves a 
favor.  they are brilliant!!!  and i don't toss around that word alot.  I 
saw them in june with The Unicorns and they were so amazing that they blew 
the poor Unicorns away.  I can't even exlplain their sound it is so complex 
and  beautiful.  they have a keyboard, an organ, xylophone, violin, guitars, 
bass, drums and tambourines.  It is glorious!!  they have an ep out that you 
might be able to get from their web site.  The mix is not that great though 
and it does not do their sound justice.  this september though they are 
releasing an album out on merge records.  keep a look out.  and if they come 
through your time make sure you check them out.

ok, thats enough for me.  farwell boys and girls.  time for me to get some 
lunch.
