has everything been said about belle and sebastian? i wouldn't be
surprised.. some of you however may still remember the 'don't look back'
thing at the barbican last year.. belle and sebastian did all right.. but
tindersticks are something else.. this sunday tindersticks are supposed to
play their second album, entitled the second tindersticks album, in its
entirety.. i think there was a line in the official biography about how s.m.
found tindersticks inspiring, or something.. not that it means anything,
considering the weird taste of the man, judging from the tight turquoise
sweater worn last month in saint-malo, but i was trying to stick to list
rule number fourteen.. anyway, it sounds like a good occasion to see
tindersticks again, the future of the band being quite uncertain, i heard..
i was wondering if anyone else was going.. also, as i am always
overestimating the number of my friends, i now find myself with two good
spare tickets for the event (twin seats in the stalls, twenty-five pounds
each, and quite central) that i would be pleased to share with you.. feel
free to contact me if you are interested by the tickets, or for any other
reason really.. i will be in the london area for the week-end..

erratum.. now that i think about it, the coach who led the '82 belgian team
to the semi-finals in mexico was in fact a small man called guy thys, sorry
about that..

the other night i dreamt i was taking part in a photoshoot, posing with an
orangutan..

have a nice day,

olivier
