I love Another Saturday on the Dark is the Night compilation, I do like it when he goes all folky. God Help the Girl is a fine record too, and it's nice to see Neil Hannon put in a very solid innings at number 9. It's great that you're still around. Sure you've changed, but haven't we all. When I first joined Sinister I was using APA referencing, confounded by obsessions and had just broken up with a girl from Vancouver. These days I reference using Vancouver style, am obsessed with confounders, and am married to that girl. That's about all I have to say. terry -- Be Yourself @ mail.com! I don't think I did a very good job - will try harder - I haven't heard it yet, either, so that doesn't help. I have heard mixed reviews from people though, and I'm finding it difficult to believe that it can be as good as Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. I went to see that the other night, on a weekend that saw me travelling from london to paisley then back to london and down to brighton and back, with two nearly missed flights in between, to witness a matrimony involving a member of this parish (who would have believed??) and also to witness martians landing on horsell common (who would have believed??) There has been a lot of travelling, in fact, over the past weeks, I went to Latitude Festival the other day and saw FEATHER BOA and also CARSMILESTEVE plus CAMERA OBSCURA and VASELINES featuring BELFAST BOB and STEVIE JACKSON zomg. Stevie seems to have been enjoying the extra rawking out involved with playing with the Vaselines. Bless him. They played that song Nirvana played and everyone cheered. I also OMGWTF saw BLUR. It was awesome, I got drunk and wailed along to like TENDER and FOR TOMORROW and stuff, and the very next day, instead of going back to work A.G.AIN I went to Roskilde to see OASIS and ZEDOHEMGEE SLIPKNOT! \M/ They were so fucking great. They also said the word fucking about a fucking thousand times. There was even fucking fireworks. Saw Coldplay too, they were fucking shit. Rumour has it some one is getting older soon, too. Message-ID: <12388980.1250323971563.JavaMail.root@ps32.mc.tiscali.sys> Hello hello. Mr Underwear said, “I love Another Saturday on the Dark is the Night compilation, I do like it when he goes all folky.” I was bit slow getting the CD but I agree it’s a lovely song. It sounds like it belongs in a kitchen sink drama to me. Black and white, early 60s. Shocking in those days but not now. Is Stuart doing more explicitly religious (Christian) lyrics in the last few years? He’s very open about how much his local church means to him. Was too on the Life In Limbo programme. That was definitely worth hearing, if you were lucky enough. As for Mr Chu‘s doubts, I haven’t heard any unfavourable reviews of God Help The Girl. I only know 2 people though who’ve heard it and I’m one of them. I think it’s one of those albums which reveal more and more the more you play it. (I used the word ‘more’ 3 times in 5 words. Very poor.) In my dream last night I was talking to Alex Klobouk (of GHTG and cover star of many B&S…covers). We were discussing creativity, football and a new biopic of Grace Slick. I went into the kitchen to wash up a mug and saw my own reflected in the kitchen window. I looked hideous.
