Three days til philly, whoohoo! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE MEET-UPS? I'm sorry, i'm not caught up with my sinisters...is the party-meet up still on? On a nice note...I heard B & S coming home today, on Princeton radio 103.3 (i think it's the college)...they played "get me away..." and the dj said it was one of his favorite songs, or something. nice to hear once, although if they played it nonstop that would not be good. Hello my young badgers! Expect a fond two days note of leave from meee as I'm going to LONDON for 2 days! I have to go and see a 40 pound musical (FUCKING HELL, how on earth do they justify charging 40 odd quid for Lloyd Webber iamthespawnofsatan man?!) and accompany my father to 'an event'.... BUT poo to that for now, for I have pressing news of an urgent manner. Sinister: Oooh, 'ello!

Hiya poppets! To all the people who've subscribed since I started university and got lumbered with a tragically user-unfriendly email system, a big HELLO! I'm sure you're all just as happy and bunnylike as everyone else on the list. Just don't send unsubscribes to sinister...;) Anyway, so I started at the big old posh place that is Oxford University a couple of weeks back, didn't do nearly as much work as the people doing Law, Biochemistry etc. to begin with, but now I have my own studio space and a big old load of oil paint to use up. And naked people and skellingtons to draw a couple of times a week. Ooh, and I get to do pickled organs in jars later on as well! Does anyone envy me this fabulous chance? Anyhoo, so I've been enjoying myself greatly, but also pining a bit for your gorgeous company. But I'm quite glad I missed all the tantrums that seem to have gone on recently. And I'm on the digest now, so I get all the slagging, fluffy kittens (or foxes, if you will) and political rhetoric in neat bundles. Hah! Seeing the Lucksmiths in old Lunnon Tahn in nuffink, mate! I saw them in NEW YORK CITY in September. In Ed Shelflife's basement, no less. And they are indeed lovely, bless their Oz cotton socks. Some of you have been _talking_ about me behind my virtual back. Is this a civilised way to behave? Tchah! Sandra and Carly: Christ knows what happened to your sparkly new tapes and IRCs, but I certainly didn't get them. I think they may have been eaten by a monster that likes the taste of Canadian timbres...:( If you can bear to send more tapes, I'll certainly do you copies, but if it's too dreadful to contemplate the stamp-monster again, I'm sure there are lots of sweet people in your vicinity who would be happy to oblige. Oh, and if you do want me to do copies, you'll need my new address. So mail me! Alas and alack! I miss Funkyseb and his voluminus hairdo. Ah well, such is life. More smut on the list! If the Boston gig is tomorrow, Rodderick should be arriving in that fair city on Friday. Do you think I'd forget something like that? I can't wait for the e-mail resurrection of that great TV programme "Entertainment USA" with Jonathan King. I also look forward to finding out whether or not the Cheers bar is the same inside as it is on the telly. But enough of this frivolity, I'm very concerned about the level of smut on the list. It all started out as a bit of light-hearted fun, but there's always someone who has to go too far and push back the boundaries of public decency. Just look at this: Five days, that's all. Please Tag, keep your filthy thoughts under wraps. All you ever think about is your Captain Mainwaring and pleasure. Carrick wrote: I get things all mixed up, sometimes. The book can be ordered from the Duke himself for two pounds less than in the shops, details on the Tangents website, which now boasts a "shop" and an article about chickens in popular music. I sent my order off yesterday, with a special request that the Duke scribble my name on the end of the acknowledgments page. I suggest you all do likewise. I do indeed like Denim. There's nothing like it to get everyone to do the splits and piss on the dancefloor. You really must post more often, Anne.
