Jessica Tinystar...yes i'm going to the toronto show(sadly i'm not in montreal but a tiny village that's not on the map..but we have STRAWBERRY FIELDS! and we have a GOLF COURSE! and we have 2(!) (whose bed have your boots been under? ) Yeeee ha there, Ahhh,anticipation is the best feeling,yes? of course,with a belle and sebastian concert is in question,during and then savouring afterwards is also lovely! Heee hee,Sarah..you REALLY hate 'pedal-pushers?' you mean like capri pants,yes? Or the even better name...clam diggers..."I'm going to put on my clam diggers and go hunt for some clams,what are you doing tonight?" Are they really so trendy? No one in my school has worn any yet,it's all cargo pants (including me) now those are comfortable and,so handy! the new album...maybe it's better not to anaylzemand just sit back and enjoy? don't worry your pretty little heads if you don't like chickfactor,(i do!) stevie's a good boy...oh they should all be in the 50 Most Beautiful People issue...i really really love that picture of Stuart David in the art gallery, he looka so dark and artiste,he's my number one pin-up boy...(actually,his carbon copy,at my school,is now eating lunch with me,but he doesn't say anything,his first and only love is his guitar...how..cold..yet lovely he's a dark and forbidden tale that can never be read) are there any Fun Facts on Belle and Sebastian like they do with the boy bands? Hello! Hey Jake, I'm 17 and I think I should tell you that al the "classics" being tossed around this list are probably all shit anyway (apart from Nick Drake and whatever tape Tim P!O!O!Kins makes you, and Felt, but have to say Hopkirk and Lee don't make me wich to play mah belly trombone...not that I have one... ) so pay no attention whatsoever. *I* KNOW the album is a dirct rip off of DON'T BORE US GET TO THE CHORUS by Roxette - but do I feel the urge to ramble on pedantically about it? Yes? I do! Good-o! Urgh? I can't afford the new album! But I have another job now! And when they give me some money it will be going straight to some people on this list who make me feel really guilty when I have still not paid up for things which happened ages ago (at least in the timescale of P!O!O!P anyway!) But I have seen the artwork. When me and my chums went into Our Price so my friendy could buy me Pet Sounds (cos it was on sale for 6.99...and she HAD promised it me for my birthday...which was last June), the album was on display at the front of the shop, I picked up the CD and pointed to the the name of honey and said "hey hey i KNOW that dude!!! I've stayed with that dude! I gave him my pink dinosaur to wear at London and HOW DID HE REPAY ME???" - but anyway I am very impressed and jealous. I wanna be on an album! What would the list be without me? Mych better actually I supose. Who on the list has bought their golfing pants yet then? I haven't yet, but I have a friend who wears checked pants all the time so I think I have his "street cred cha?" reflecting upon my own good person. I like Mick, he's cool and wears golfing pants. Who's the idiot? Are B&S saying that they're with Momus when it comes to babies? (viz: "His Majesty the Baby"). Anyway, it's a beautiful verse, I was just wondering if anyone else had any impressions... hi kids! i have been reading the list for a few months but didn't feel compelled to chime in until i realised that it really bugs me that i have NO idea what "the boy with an arb strap means!" what the heck is an arab strap? i take it that it is slang for being impaled (based on the cover, although there is a nice disclaimer about the title having nothing to do with the cover star) so someone PLEASE put me out of my misery and tell me what an arab strap is! :0) i also must add that i adore the new cd. it hasn't left my cd player since i rushed out tuesday morning to buy it. i am even thinking about flying to chicago to see the band in late oct.
