the woman under the moniker of cat power produces some of the most deeply personal and transcending music (the likes of which haven't been heard since that of kristen hersch). try 'what would the community think?'. i think you'll be pleasantly surprised even if other records seem weak. regards, mark.

i don't get it. i bought the new cat power a month or so ago and it still hasn't made it to my c.d. player more than twice. am i listening to it with the wrong set of ears? uuuhhhhhh! i heard jim white's in there somewhere and he's a genius but i guess he was sober the day he recorded. i'm not pissing anyone off am i? i would like to see the beauty in it but it just aint happening.

oh! and how do you get to the picture page now?(i was asleep that day)

on a positive side of things, i think i have offically started back smoking and i feel so much better. it was the belle and sebastian show that did it. even brad smoked that night. a whole year for nothing.

did anyone catch mr. show last night? it was one of the best episodes i've seen(besides the one with the gay rock and roll band)
