Hello out there in twee world Has anyone mailed me lately? I only ask because my e-mail program died last night and when I resurected it all of my mail had disappeared. Normally of course I'd just cast a spell to get it all back but whenever I do that people always complain about the computer lab smelling of cinnamon, why must magic smell like that? I'm a bit upset by losing my mail actually, it's great fun reading over all the old insults that have been sent my way (archel called me a blackmailing sod just the other day, I was almost tempted to carry out my threat even though she did what I wanted) and as for the promises to give me a nice spanking (you know who you are) well I could read those all day. A quick piece of advice for you all, if you have to organise a function for a society you really ought to publicise it to the members as otherwise you end up with 2 bottles of wine for each person who turns up and that's given me an almighty hangover. Oh well at least it was a free hangover, I didn't pay a penny towards getting into the state that I was in last night. B&S are great to listen to when you've got a hangover though, I've got a minidisc of the Bowlie on right now and it's making me feel loads better, I am getting a few funny looks though, maybe I should stop bopping in my seat. respect to whoever sent in all those corruptions of B&S song lyrics, I'm a great fan of corruptions. hello all, oh what hell it has been lately. i have a billion papers to write! i am sinking in work. i spent 7 straight hours writing papers and doing math work and i am know where near done.i am writing a psychology paper on subliminal seduction. it has been proven that you could send subliminal messages to people to sexualy entice them. too bad the article doesnt tell me how to send these subliminal messages. but no fear, i will figure it out!.. college is really not that great. when the end of the semester comes i will die with delight. oh speaking of school, i am already thinking of next semester but not the work though. well you see i have ordered b&s badges and a shirt, and once i get them (i have been waiting patiently like a good little girl but it is driving me crazy. every day i get the mail but each day i inevitably have to do the dreaded walk back to the house, and wait yet another day for my b&s stuff to arrive) the semester will have ended but then next semester i start back at school again and this time it is the main campus wihere there are lots of kids!. so i conjure up these stories in my head about people seeing my badges and crowding around me and saying "oh i love belle and sebastian too!" and they all fall in love with me and the rest is history. that is pretty sad that that is what my fantasies are about. maybe i should be more like steve c. and start fantasizing about "hot chicks" in the back of magazines and then look up their websites. hahahaha. Mornen As much as it pains me, I am required to carry a mobile phone for work. To make the whole affair less painful and to give it a bit of a B&S theme, I have customised various options. My voice mail has the first trumpet break from Judy and the Dream of Horses playing in the background! Also available on my particular phone is the facility to programme your own ring melody, which is where I hope some of you out there may be able to help my phone ring out with a B&S tune or two (instead of Sesame Street)! Recently England refused grotesque American beef imports. Erm.. listen, all you who are delighted at your Wu-Tang names, please bear in mind how you'd feel if everyone on the list sent in theirs in a one-line mail message - 1150 mails in your in-tray tomorrow morning... I'm having a huge LSD flashback to the Porn Names game, which elders of the list will remember was uncannily similar. I was Shirley Watton, not very sexy but presumably a stripper from the 30s.
