Well, that film was crap. Tim Robbins can escape from Shawshank, but stick him in space, and all he can do is make his head implode. it was nice to see "Lieutenant Dan" make a comeback after Viet Nam, Helloooooooo everybody; Oi'm making this one up as i go along. not like my usual 1-post-a-month-insightful yet lurkish doodabs. TIGERMILK (the wine, as mentioned by idles) was �3.49 down here, thus i purchased a "sample bottle". Upon realising it was almost as fantastic as its namesake, i rushed to buy more...but horror! the buggers removed it from the shelves...i need a case of 12 for my xmas gatherings. (it was a very very sweet wine...suited for the non-regular wine drinkers, not you hardcore veteran cheap-red drinkers...) LA AUCTIONE I got some mittens! at least, my crush will have come xmas. And you're all so cheap! i put in a "feeler" bid (too much poker playing reveals itself) for "Beans" Geddes's meal and won! i live 300-odd miles away, so a trek is in order...he'd better be a bloody good cook... XFM's preordering "Cool Cool Xmas": Carp again. it was shipped 2 days late and STILL hasn't arrived! so on saturday i went round my friends house and listened to his copy. On that note... MIDDLE EAST CRISIS B&S's him has shown the way. Israel is "captive". They said it, not me. HITLER i went to this lecture where the professor was so clearly a pill-popper. he said: "Hitler was ideological E"; justified his comment by saying "You'll never empathise unless you experience it" and finally "If Hitler had danced more, all of this would never have happened". Thus, i'm doing a jig for the Middle East right now. but dad's working up here and looks stressed. i'll jig in my room to the funk stylings of B&S later. WHISTLER (it looks a bit like hitler...) are they really that nasty? but they sound so good on the cd...when they come near my way, i'll dance lots in front of them. see that they do then! GENTLE WAVES is much better this time round. the first album sounded like "learn to play piano book 1". REVOCATION OF INDEPENDENCE probably not the best thing to print on this list...being largely american in populous... LOLA RENNT saw it for free in my local "arthouse" cinema, but a load of tossing townie wankers were behind us laughing when people died. Gits. Big Stu thinks that there's hope for him if girls have crushes on Eminem. Is this the same Big Stu I used to know? Have his jungle adventures transformed him from an amiably bumbling fool into a foul-mouthed multiple-personalitied monster? Or is the allure of the 'difficult man' lost on him? I'm not complaining about this. It would be hypocritical of me to complain about women liking bad seeds, as I make a point of only fancying foul-tempered women. Anyway, Eminem's got lovely eyes. I think Carsmile Steve's amianannoyingtweefuckerornot.com has a lot of mileage in it. Perhaps Stuart Mmm would do better there than the paltry 3.8 out of10 he received on amihotornot.com (http://www.amiHOTorNOT.com/r/?eid=KRSQO&key=UEHFF ) . Maybe people thought they were voting for Isobel. As for home education, I'm all for it. But only as a means of filling the gaps in the high school curriculum, where hermeneutics, ancient Greek and advanced calculus are regularly squeezed out in favour of (admittedly important) socialisation and/or peer-group torment. As an American billionaire remarked to me at a recent party, there isn't much in the world that wouldn't be improved by a little more knowledge of calculus. Another guest put the case for 'poetry, music and some laughs', but everyone agreed that it was a weak one. dear list, being sat here in my little room, i suddenly felt an urge to post. i'm still quite undecided about *what* to write, but i'll try to make it interesting, honest :) apparently it's still quite early, and it's already sooo dark outside. that's the one thing i dislike about the autumn/winter season - it gets dark farr too quickly and the darkness stays on for farr too long. no wonder i'm usually late for school ;) well today, for a change, i wasn't. still it turned out i needn't have bothered, as some teachers have been taken ill and we were released home. and to think i could have finished dreaming about being a gold-digger... pah. i'm sure if i hadn't woken up, i would have found a very large gold nugget (or a couple of those actually), which would be enough to finance my studying in the uk ;) and yes, i would then live happily ever after ;)) anyway, i've just discovered how ace internet shopping actually is. i managed to talk my dad into letting me use his card (teehee) so i've been happily ordering stuff normally unavailable here in lousy poland. lalala :) i received some of the records yesterday (it'll probably make for my birthday+christmas present, but who cares? :) and fell in love with salako's 'a moonlight radiates...' ep. i even have it on lovely vinyl... lalalalala :) vinyl records are so much nicer than cds, as far as i'm concerned. they're way prettier, for example ;) well ok, maybe i like them so much cos my lp player isn't as annoying as my cd player (which, among other things, says NO DISC when i try to put on my hefner ep or makes farty noises and jumps from track 1 to 7 when i try to play tigermilk. is it censorship of some kind or what?) i too would like to contribute a few sentences to a common view that 'yes, the latest gentle waves album is way way better than the debut'. i agree completely. some of the new songs got played on a nice radio programme on monday (quite late at night of course :) and i liked them lots. the vj seemed enchanted too, so maybe he'll play some more next week :) (just by the way, he's the guy whose late fishyclap review i posted some time ago.) well unfortunately, that same guy slagged off sigur ros in one of his programmes, so i'll still hate him forever ;) or as near as matters. right, i'd better go then. schoolwork calling (ugh) take care all, ola ps. jason, if you were talking about me in your last mail, then i'm really real ;) and if you weren't, well, it just proves what a fool i am :) psps. chris p, so i love sigur ros as well. does it make my music taste cool too? ;)) (does it does it does it? ;)) +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister(a)missprint.org. Sinister: does this sound familiar?

hiya all.. well, here I am again, living with a headcase. The sweet one from Uzbekistan decided to launch himself into a tirade of verbal abuse on Tuesday night, and I have no idea why. HE asks to speak to me. I say okay. he says hes pissed off. He says he hates me. I ask why. He says everything. I ask to sit down and discuss it. I tried to discuss it, but he said hes not going to be my scape goat, and no excuses. then it starts getting mean. I'm shocked, and for once, speechless. I am apparently an F***ing C*** (Rhymes with runt) I am an f***er. I am a vampire. (look, I might have dark hair, dark eyes and skin so pale that a goth would die for it, I might have no reflection, but until Buffy comes loking for me, there is no proof.) I am alot of things, it would seem. I am a hateful person. He hates me. (repeated several times, along with f***er and c***) apparently its everything I do. Its everything I am. Hes always hated me. he wishes I was dead. He would like to kill me. Irritatingly, he waited til there was nobody else in the kitchen to go nuts. So now, although I know what happened, he played it down to my female flatmate, and I don't know if she believes me. Well, would you believe that the sweetest, quietest and most gentle person can turn like that? I didn't, not til it dawned on me. So what did I do? I phoned the boyfriend. In tears. Hes very good at this supportive thing, you know. I called a pal, he came over and we drank tiger milk, which tasted alright, actually. I wrote down everything flatmate said in a notebook, and a time and date. I went to the university yesterday, and made a confidential, but official complaint. They were ace. What is disturbing, is that he has a master key to all the rooms in the residence. They are going to get it from him. In the meantime, I'm keeping my keys firmly in the lock, so he can't get into my room. As well as a matter of personal safety and secuirity, they said that if there is a robbery, he would be a suspect. Cos not even uni officials can enter a room without another person being present to stop any accusations of stealing. With the exception of cleaners. The drunk tory one was good, and said that if I needed help, if it got worse, if there was trouble, I have to go and get him. No appologies. Nothing said about it. If it happens again, I have the number for the security, and also the office number for the university people. Mark (boyfriend) suggested I take the dictaphone he gave me in the summer whenever I'm alone with him. Also decided to take my keys, mobile and keep my shoes on, in case things go worse. Dad asked if he was on drugs. (dads reasoning of any young irrational person). Mum thinks hes religious (he read the bible about six times) and doesn't like me being so liberated. I think she means he doesn't like me smoking, drinking, shagging, swearing and stuff. Feeling calm really, think I have done the right thing. Uni were sympathetic and helpful. Actually got my head round it all, and did some work. Nobody is allowed to mess up my final year, without prior consent and a note from the official bodies. Anyway, thats me told you ther personal things now. No news musically, to report. So this is purely an e mail about me. Forgive me if its dull. Sinister: Crying on the inside, but also the outside and in between

Hi babydolls. I've been carefully counting my posts since sinister first started and tonight is a big night for me. Yes, it's true-- this is my 100th post. Break out the finest orange juice! Pony rides for everyone! Hooray for Christiaan! I can't believe it's been so long. It seems like just yesterday that I was popping out of the nursery for my first post. Oh, how the time flies! I woke up this morning and it seemed like any other day. I live in a very large house with my parents and two sisters. We are quite wealthy and everyone has an individual servant. I leaned over from my bed for my english muffin and tea (served in a silver kettle mind you) and found to my dismay-- strawberry jam! EVERYone knows that I prefer rasberry. I calmy called for my servent who pranced into the room. "Yes, Princess Christiaan, what do you desire?" "Your hot sexy body on top of me and naked, NOW!" No I didn't really say that. "I would like to listen to Belle and Sebastian on the stereo, please." "Yes, Princess, what you desire shall be done." "Well in that case, I'd like some sweaty luvins, baby! No not really "Thank you, Jonathan." He put on "If You're Feeling Sinister." On vinyl, of course, as any princess would have. "Is there anything else you would like, Princess?" "No, that will be all. Thank you love." He started to walk away. As soon as his back was turned I threw the kettle at him. Direct hit to the back of the head. He fell over, bleeding. "Excuse me, but when did I ask you to start putting strawberry jam on my english muffin? What? I can't hear you, Jonathan (note that he had passed out so this was quite a witty thing to say). Oh, I must not have asked you to then! Serves you right you bastard!" Since when did the right flavor of jam become too much to ask? Life is indeed harsh. I wanted to have Jonathan executed but Pappy would have none of it. Speaking of Pappy: When I was a wee princess my closest friend gave me a glass unicorn as a gift. I loved the unicorn; I felt that it alone could make me happy. Pappy, unfortunately, did not feel the same. Laughing, he would take the unicorn and place it on top of the fridge, teetering over the edge. Teetering, teetering, te et er in g (please note diagonal text and repetition for emphasis) (note extra space to build tension) He would then go to the dining hall for pints, the bastard. Anyway. I would stand, staring, waiting for one of the following: 1) Pappy would come back and give me my unicorn, and I would be happy. 2) The unicorn would come tumbling down and shatter on the floor. 3) The unicorn would stay there, forever, as I would. My life hasn't changed much since then. So. I hope you are all rejoicing over my 100th post as I would be if it was yours. I love you all dearly. And please remember: life can be difficult, even for a princess. I really spent the last year in LA, getting down wiv da hood. I was even voted "most-improved pistol-whipper" at this year's gangland awards ceremony. But they forced me out of town when my homies discovered I listened to B&S. Twee, my arse. I still reckon in ten years time Eminem will be as well-respected as Vanilla Ice, though. And I'll amiably bumbling fool you, Dastoor... I had my first Christmas dinner of the year last night. Until there was a power-cut just before we got to the desserts. Sinister: on liking hard men, home education and all the rest

Hello everyone ---- After reading all those posts on linking "emninem" and such ... I personally somehow ... fail to see the appeal ... I guess I am someone who gets scared easily and aggression directed towrwards me or others is bound to either make me cry or go all sarcastic (I met some prototypes of "hard men" in my life ... including one guy who gave me detailed descriptions of all the crimes he had commited ... and as I was standing at the station waiting for a train he told me how he would love to push someone when the train came in. I told him to say it a bit louder and see how many people would step back from the rails then ... He seemed to be on the outlook for a girlfriend .... believe me I was glad when he got off the train and I was alone again ----) Also I am much stronger than I look and very macho (ever since I helped my best friend (the one I made a best-of belle and sebastian compilation nearly two years ago ... he even likes them) to clear out his cellar his dad always tells him to "call the lunatic" when it comes to carrying heavy stuff) I am normally the one walks (or used to as I don't have one right now) round the car to open the door for guys who got a lift with me .. who wants buy people drinks or at least pay for her own --- My point .. hmmmm ... if I ever came accross "eminem" I'd RUN--- very very fast. And hide in the toilett. And climb out of the window. Home education .... I have quite mixed views on this ... Arguments against it have mostly been that kids never learn to interact with others their age .. True enough .. But I guess you'll have to look at your kid as an individual ...and not map out all their future education at a very early point in their lives ... I dont think home education would have been a solution for me .. but "normal" school was a sheer nightmare for me ... I guess what I learned there via interaction was that I would never be liked and only tolerated if I was lucky (except for a few special people) What I also learned was that people don't forget ,,, once the freak always the freak ... And I was lucky cos I never got beaten up ... just hassled by words ... any post with this type of sexual connotation would have to be from lisa (er-...me) hot topic has been the (quote, unquote) hard man...chalk me up on the board along side the rest, but the hard man stands as the best...a certain listee can even vouch for that one as our phone conversation last night consisted of me practically begging him to show some spunk and fight with me. pull hair, slap, wrap me in red vinyl and roll me down the stairs, chain me to bed post, want to "ow" at my head smacking against backboard, play with knives, hell-play with hot sauce but stay off the highways... it's the challange...don't want to take it easy, anyone can do that... thrill me, frighten me...rap-tap on my window pane and wake me late at night, hide in fridges, hang off porches, ransack my room keep me occupied for heavens sake... men are like alchohol. drink hard or don't drink at all. i want something that cracks my jaw like a fist...keeps me giddy all night and sore-eyed in the morning...none of this malibu baybreeze shit...i don't want sugary sweet...i want to taste what fucks me up b/c that's the stuff with the power...i want it bitter and smelling like it came straight from the medicine cabinet... you want me than want me on my toes, wondering about you, thinking about you...walking around with that what-will-you-do-next preoccupied expression on my face through the office and the library, down the street... you could even break my b&s cd's...if you think you can handle the reaction...(content) can i pause and catch my breath for a minute here? let's all take a deep one. ...any problems just call me in the morning...i'll be the one with the dark glasses. -lisa being yr ideal or so... bulls blood toasts for the slm makes me do bad things on my kitchen floor. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
