The following review appeared in last Friday's edition of El Diario Vasco,
the world's worst newspaper:
----------------------------------------------------------
Beautiful and personal (that's the headline)
After the delicious debut Tigermilk (today a cult object) this 3, 6, 9
Seconds of Light is the Scottish sextet's third single. It starts off with A
Century of Fakers, which is reminiscent of rhythms chewed in Lazy Lane with
better sound and a new melody. Love and surfing psychodelia fly over Le
Pastie de Bourgoisie, where the reverb and double voices smell of
Californian salt residue. Beautiful shaows us again that B&S are on form. In
Put the Book on The Shelf they sing to themselves.
Kevin Kevorkian
---------------------------------------------------------
That's it. I haven't made anything up, honest. I think Mister "Kevorkian"
(a) has got Tigermilk and (b) is no stranger to drugs. There's a little
picture off the record cover as well. The other new release reviewed this
week is Nicolette's Let No One Live Rent Free In Your Head. If I'm not
mistaken it's from about two years ago.

Yesterday being a lovely day in London I decided to go rollerblading in
Hyde Park. I usually play hockey by the Albert Memorial but when I got
there, none of the other usual folks were around. But a little kid
skated up and asked if I wanted to play with him and his nanny. I said
I'd love to and asked him his name...
"My name is Sebastian" he said, "and this is Annabelle"...
What are the chances of that!

PLEASE could somebody tape the relevant bit of the show for me tonight?
My radio's bust and I've got to work late anyway!
Anyone kind enough to help will be disproportionately rewarded.
Lots of love

They seem rather pointless to me - but someone could probably get me to like
them if they explained them to me. Why? Why? Why?

Maybe Leo won't be so very melodramatic if he was tired - a very good thing
in my book.

Do you think he's short of cash?

actors would have to drink orange juice - they would get in to trouble with
their personal trainers if they didn't. Anyway, they have to worry about
their multi-million pound earning stomachs and legs, so they would probably
drink deionised super-pure h2o.

yes yes yes,,, we should form a support group: people recovering from
winter,or manic winter depressive( no, thats just me). Every time you
think the summer is coming,, it begins snowing, I know I should just
face it, spring never arrives here before end of april, but after 6
months of winter, it does get to you a little doesn't it.
> who is wee karn and how is she (?) related to b&s?
I always thought it a nickname of someone in B&S, but as it turns out
it's SD's wife- am I right?
Does anybody know of a club in Cambridge called The Boutraiser or
something or other,, my friends are trying to get a 'gig' there and
they were told that it was a very 'hot' club, and one of the best(est)
small venues or something..
and one thing in the end: the song that Arab Strab remixed for David
Holmes ( lets get killed) is actually on a radio chart here in Iceland,
it's actually quite a good song, so i'm a bit surprised..............
well thats all for
now...................................................................
