just to let you know that I, (sarah, star, however you know me i have

Um, thats it but not enough people are posting to the list anyway so
I'll take up some time here.
As for a christmas chat i don't think i'll be *allowed* near the

Humbug: bought 'if you're feeling sinister' on friday, went away for the
weekend, only to find on my return that one of my housemates had played
it, left it by the draining board, and managed to get water over the
sleeve. so now it;s all stuck together and i hadn't even read the lyrics.

Okay -- I heard that rumor last week from someone, who heard it from a record
distributor. I was talking to the aforementioned Matthew Kaplan last Thursday
night in NYC and, since we were both at the taping, I repeated it to him,
noting that it was just a rumor and that the B&S list had said it would air on
the 27th.
The next day I got an e-mail from Chris Douridas who hosts the show, which I
posted to this list, and it said he "thought" the show would air in February.
Then I got an e-mail from someone on the list who said Karen David told
him/her that the segment would air in January.
Do you suppose they're trying to get everyone to watch every week in order to
boost their ratings?
And, that will teach me to repeat cheap gossip, especially to lawyers!

I'm getting LOADS of requests for tapes and I'm stacking them up - I'm
going out and I may be some time. When I start sending them out could I
ask pretty please for other people to offer to do second generation dubs
for others? But it'll be New Year before I get started. Chris meanwhile
is I'm sure being asked for lots too.
Meanwhile I will have a very limited no. of tapes with me for the Saturday
concert and pub before - there's a strict list of people who might be
there but if you want one and ask me I may have at least a few going -
bring a tape to swap with me with something that I *have* to hear but
probably haven't... ANYTHING. By the way I've heard the Spice Girls LP
already and the DJ Shadow remixes.
