Hello folks, I am writing today in my capacity as manager of top boy band Roolz. Tag has officially appointed me as band svengali, which may come as a surprise to the other members of the band. I did suggest to Tag that maybe he should consult with the rest of Roolz first, to which he replied "fuck them", so i guess it's OK. Up until now Roolz has been a ramshackle and shoddily organised affair, and the lads are obviously in need of some strict discipline. With this in mind I have enlisted the services of Miss Honey, who has previous experience as PA for the Sleeka Sounds Corporation. I had a dream last night and Honey was in it, can't remember much else, but I think he might have been playing pinball. Unfortunately Cheltenham is rather overcast and threatening another large rain storm. ***CONTENT ALERT*** Yes, finally, some B&S-related ephemera. The Greenbelt Festival is taking place in Cheltenham this year and the word on the street is that Belle & Seb are playing. Not wanting to appear cynical but if this actually happens you can all come and stay at my house. Can you imagine the band playing at a 'Christian' festival (although I think they are trying to get away from the Christian thing, like Guildford are trying to get away from the folk thing)? Or any 'proper' festival at all. At the time my colleague was studying music at University and became so irked by his nieghbours that he wrote down the chord that would adequately link the song together on a small piece of paper and pushed it under their door. All right, this is my first post since coming out of the closet (oops! nursery), so please be gentle with me... Apparently, I'm not supposed to write fan letters right now (I'm supposed to work, dammit), but I _do_ feel a bit sinister and I really need to vent a bit. Is that all right? My particular problem this week is that The Most Beautiful Girl In the World has turned into a perfect bitch. We have a fight scheduled for sometime next week, which I am looking forward to. As you probably have guessed, I'm suffering from ex-girlfriend disorder. Which sucks. Sorry, didn't mean to sound quite that whiny. Oh, well, it's back to work for me... :( I didn't bring my B&S cd's here, so I only have Portishead and Chemical Brothers to lighten my day with. And frankly, that's not really what I need right now. Dear All I don't know about anywhere else in the country but the weather is glorious in London; so good in fact I'm going to wag the rest of the day and get utterly wrecked with some friends. Hurray. Last night I was listening to TBWTAS in my chambers and fell asleep before the end. I then had a rather peculiar dream. In my dream I was Satan and it was my birthday; don't ask how I knew this fact I just did. Anyway, I was Satan and I was travelling around in this behemoth of a bus on a world tour giving people presents because I was in a jolly good mood. Next I made LA explode because I didn't like the look of it; then I was interviewed by Jeremy Paxman about the importance of a really good forward defensive stroke. Finally I went to The Maids of Honour near Richmond to get some cake, but they had sold out of cheesecake and so I had to be satisfied with a custard tart. Warmest regards Dr. D. (hi lucy btw, didn't know you were on here too) ok, off to the shops to but a newspaper and a wonka's xploder bar. actually, the last twice i've bought two, one for me and one to send to my girlfriend and have ended up eating both of them. just like all those kinder eggs that 'rolled under the bed' and were never seen again around easter time. 8) irn bru: my girlfriend got her local import shop in LA to order some irn bru for her. it duely arrived but was made in canada rather than scotland. which is odd enough. but the canadian stuff also lacked the caffeine that the scottish version has in it. especially odd when you think of the north americans' obvious love of caffinated drinks (jolt cola anyone?
