3 hours to drive there a lot of food and gas money. anyway, we arrived at the venue and waited around for about an hour and when 8 rolled around they started posting signs saying that the concert was cancelled and postponed and whatnot.
I was there at 7, and the signs were up, just no-one had noticed them. *** Things I've learned *** 1. It's a long walk along Queen Strret East. 2. It's a long walk back along Queen Street East. 3. There's lots of scary people wanting lots of money on Queen Street East. This is not a good thing when you've got 100$ in your pocket and they demand to sheck for "spare change" even after you've given them 6$. 4. Never say "Yeah, I'll meet you at Marche" when neither of the people involved in theis meeting know where Marche is. 5. CDs in Canada are dirt cheap. 6. Norman Cooke is a genius. 7. Next time take a tram thingy along Queen Street East. 8. Toronto doesn't like me.
