Dear chums and chumesses, Welcome to my post-nativity shindig, the Rip Van Winkle's Wrinkled Dinkle Pickling Party. Everyone's simply having a wonderful Christmas time! Sadly, the Radiohead boys have failed to turn up, but Motorhead are well represented, as usual. Philthy Animal is in the oven, on gas mark 6, basting himself with gallons and gallons of page three birds! Over in the corner, Tariq Aziz is busily smearing an enormous dildo with dubbin, his trademark spectacles steaming up in anticipation of bathroom devilment, no doubt! Meanwhile, I'm dilligently mixing a bucketful of fresh cod roe and trout sperm that Roger Daltry brought along to liven things up. Ha ha, I love that guy! He's in the kitchen having a "Dippity Doo" glottal stop contest with Bob Hoskins. They sound like a pair of acid-crazed troglodytes. Oh, I know, I know - any excuse! I've been trying to think of ways to get you a photo of the object of your desires wearing her school uniform, but the only idea I've come up with is to get photocopies done and send them. But I'm worried that the photocopy shop man will have me arrested immediately and thrown into prison. I'm sure I'll think of something. I'm disappointed that we didn't get a Christmas Day address from the Duke this year. No wonder the list is struggling to keep its head above water. I bet bloody Shalala got one. Turn again, Dick Whittington! Yesterday I went to the pictures and it was a film that probably won't trouble the vast majority of you, "The Miracle of P. Tinto", but I thought it was worth mentioning because I think it's the first time I've seen a film with someone having a wank on the bog in it. Soon there will be no boundaries left to push back. Unless good old Stuart Murdoch can find them. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the world ends soon, so he might as well unleash all he's got on the next LP. cheerio to all of you 'out there'!!! actually, I was planning to make my first mail to this list more oh-sensational, but as it _always_ turns out different, I probably shouldn't have even expected that to happen...hmhmhm here I am now, hanging on my i-connection middle in the night being extremely happy that x-mas is over...cos afterall: 1) days _will_ get longer (hard to believe....ain't it?) 2) cookies are all eaten up (or soon will be)..*sorry for being a girlie at this issue, but they _do _ make one fat* 3) all these crazy-going people around have finally settled down and they (we??) all realize, that these stupid presents they've got really weren't worth the x-mas rush.... Anyways!! That all wasn't _really_ the reason why I started writing this mail, so let me get to the point... *** the Douglas Coupland issue: I've read _all_ the stuff that funny Canadian wrote, and I simply loved it. I thought, the guy could not write a bad novel...he was getting better with every new book he wrote. Anyways, you can imagine what my expectations about the "Girlfriend in a Coma" were....Huuuuuuge!!! (and _not_ only the title seemed more than promising). Well,the dissappointment was even worse after having finshed it two days ago.........!!!! I even thought of sending some complaints to the author! It _is_ a crap book (much much much worse than that "Celestine's Prophecy" one, which i more than disliked and which it does remind me of somehow). There's just nothing coming from the _real_ Douglas Coupland in that book, and there's nothing about (or even feeling like) the Smiths "as we know them" in it. So if you decide reading the book because of its nice title, then do think twice....and do concider reading the MICROSERVES maybe first (not a dissappointing title either, isn't it?*s*) there were some other things I wanted to mention as well, but oh-well maybe next time. I'm just wondering if I'll be the first one to wish you all the most joyfull NEW YEAR's EVE! Nooooo...*smiles* Well,dear listees, DO get pissed an DO have fun!!! Dear Sinisters! This feels great! I am no longer using Microsoft Outlook to type my mails with :) mmmmmmmm :) Turnpike.....lovely....! Outlook was so...harsh! Even though it has that lovely send and recieve function... which is just so handy.... BUT! it writes in a crappy font and trust me that means a lot. Yes. And it doesn't have pretty little pictures, unlike Demon Internets Turnpike prgram. Which I do hope is good else I'll go unwillingly back to Outlook. Which I am quite fond of too...cos it represents....the new pooter...perhaps with this new program I am just delving into mail nostalgia...ah who knows and indeed, who cares! Lets cut and paste from Outlook now eh? Smeeter Filler, Peter Miller! > slowly into town. It's very flat, and surrounded by cabbages, and > people drink huge quantities of real ale. Everything suddenly drops away from this land of terraced houses and narrow roads, to a marvelous panorma and sky and hills and sheep! it rules! (and real ale is the ONLY ale.) My friend, or my sister, well, she is both! Told me the other day, that Americans don't eat lamb cos the US doesn't have a lot of sheep! Kerazee! A simple concept but yet so hard for me to relate to. What about kebabs? Americans, do you like kebabs? I do. Ages ago, someone mentioned THE CARDIGANS. They are crap. They always were crap and then lots of people bought their records and made them be played on ROCK FM a lot and they are still crap and always will be. Aaaah. http://www.harryhill.com go there!! Ah well, perhaps using the little mouse roller is a bad thing. I have noticed myself getting sore hands when I use it. Falumn Nearer! Possibly cos they are not brunettes, unlike my fair self! Speaking of my fair (hehehe yes, in the same sense that woof the dog is fair) self, a picture of me shall soon be on Sinister peeple page, cos Gary is scanning me in A PICTURE. The horror, the fear! Sinister: never take electricity for granted

HA LLO it's properly the holiday season now. we had a power cut earlier on today. the excitement, the fun, the darkness. when the power went out, i thought 'i'll go for a walk, and when i return the power'll be back on' so i went over the fields, but each time i looked back at the village it was still dark. it was only when i was walking past the house in my street that's covered in xmas lights and plastic glowing reindeer that the power returned - much to my surprise, as santa suddenly loomed out of the darkness, from the front garden of this house. i started laughing maniacally, to my consternation. i think my point is that the weather has deteriorated suffiently for it be all xmassy, and cosy. unless, like moi, you happen to be walking across a muddy field in the rain. not that i'm still doing that, i got home a while ago. they don't have computers in fields, you know. look at what xmas has done to my sanity, i'm talking utter shite. must stop and go to sleep love alix ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "No, Patrick," Luis says. Happy Christmas Sinisterines! Recently, the "Lady" Penelope Cheez Wizz threatened: "jonnykat - i am going to track you down like a bloodhound." I found this concept rather stimulating. What sport we could make of it, this transatlantic hunting... Does this make me a fox? I don't know, but it kind of makes me horny. Oh, my... Then, Robbie lisped: "jonny, don't miss me baby, i still want some of that pie." This really kills me, this pie thing. I must be a better baker than I thought, but there's plenty of pie to go around, really, so... keep in touch boy. Or maybe you and Gateau could get together? Pies, cakes... imagine the possibilities! Besides, I'm with Billy, so there. He is lurking here, you know, so be careful. On that note, I must tell you all that I'm outta here. I've made some incredible friends-for-life here (you know who you are, and I'll obviously keep in touch) and I've had untold magical experiences, but it is time for Jonny to unsub. Lalala... hello everyone, whom i still don't really know because i am oh-so-new.... someone wrote: <<God! now i'm even quoting the smiths. Better watch meself before i become douglas coupland or something.
