Nice one Edd, what a great topic to my teeth into. I'll just go for a piss to gather my thoughts and when I come back I shall begin(hopefully I'll be able to think of more than 10). !. The hair'n'head factor. Mr John is a very odd man indeed. He is (I think) naturaly Ginger (which is already a solid enough reason to dislike him). Most Ginger people feel very sore about this topic and spend thier whole lives wishing away thier Ginger curse, constantly living in fear of falling asleep in fields incase a rabit comes along, mistakes his/her head for a carrot, and eats it. However, Mr John is one of the fortunate ones who is losing his Ginger hair and with the amazing advances of modern science is able to replace his hair with whatever colour he choses. And he choses.....Ginger??? I find this difficult to understand but impossible to condone Mr John be damned to the fires which burn in your (fake) hair!! 2."Good bye Englands Rose..." What about Scotland. N Ireland and Wales, after she was the Princess of Wales...How dare he, I find this extremly offensive and typical of English mentality. I'ts because of this that other nations and Americans especially refer to the U.K as England 3. He has awful clothes. That is all I reallly need t say on this topic because he just does, like a bad re-ocurring Eighties nightmare. 4. His music is tame and unchallenging. Challenge? Can't think of anything else now I became distracted with some incoming mail and lost my momentum. Huw.

Sinister: James T's Testicle

I know a gym story..... To keep the identity of the protaganist a secret lets call him James T James T's Testicle ============== A long time ago i was in the Boys Brigade with James T. BB meetings occured every Friday evening in the high School gym in Balfron. The gym has got big climbing bars on all the walls. James T was climbing these bars in a boyish manner, having all sorts of climbing fun. He climbed up. He climbed down. He climbed to both sides. He climbed right up as high as he could go. In a moment of madness he decided to mimic a fireman and slide down the side of the climbing bars. Little did he expect that there was a rope hook half way down his slidey journey. Poor James T ripped his scrotum open on this hook and got kind of stuck on it. But he never made a sound. He simply unhooked himself and walked out of the hall, leaving a trail of blood. Then he screamed. And everyone understoof his pain. The funny thing is, when the BB head person had a look at James T's scrotum it was indeed ripped open, but they could only find one testicle. We all had a look around, but apparently it had retracted right up into his stomach. Funny eh? from christopher ----------------------------------------------------------------------- . I thought Sid was South African. There's a blue plaque dedicated to him on a house on the North Circular just past Ealing The NME once reported that Bradford were to release a song called 'Laugh Like Sid James'. Sadly, it never happened I'll go now. Paul. Thanksto all for the 3 o clock info. Two more posers 1 - once at the reading festival i heard a song on the p.a that contained the line' Pristine Christine' & NO it wasn't The Sea Urchins. It sounded like Julian Cope 2 - When at university i used to get up in the middle of the night to tape 'transmission' on itv. It was the mtv indie show & was presented by a lovely ginge called Rachael. Anyway i used to tape the best bits & watching it all again a while back there is a really good pop song by a bunch of typical indie kids circa 1989 - lots of flowery skirts & brown suede. Two guys, the lead singer has brown curly hair & the obligatory tamborine girl had a blonde bob. The chorus went something like 'Today...is turning out to be a ??????' I always hoped i'd buy it one day on a compilation without realising . & then playing it & being really happy, but i guess after 9 (gulp!) years that romantic notion will never happen. Can anyone help?
