Just a quick wee note to say check out the Daily Record today for a very surreal article on" limelight shunning Scots Brits winners Belle and Sebsatian its in the middle pages a two page spread cool huh. It is also mocking or the bands that Belle beat and has a really shite alleged publicity photie of the band. I do know how to spell Wemblee, honest - must be that cuppa I spilt on the keyboard, it's been playing up lately... Lesley Jo, look on the bright side, at least now you get to worship a genuinely famous person...wonder if she'll get together with David Beckham, then - I've heard Posh's ankles are swelling up a treat, and she's bound not to be in the mood for much charlestoning in her condition... London is 5 hours ahead of New York, Kristin, so you only have to be online at 7pm, you lucky thing! Can we do wot Tag suggested and bombard the Steps list? Sinister: Looper to play Borders

Looper will do be doing an in-store performance at the Borders Books and Music here in Brighton on Sunday March 7 at 2pm. 50 or so free tickets will be available starting next Monday, February 22. ....Chalets *do* have to be paid for on one single credit card, according to Ticketweb. Tickets go on sale via the net at Midnight Friday (GMT) or Midday Saturday by phone. Hope this hasn't already been said, but then I am only a digestive. So - got our chalet sorted out - all I need to do now is be on a PC all Friday night (and, to be honest, I am usually that sad) so's I can be sure to make it all happen. I reckon it'll be quite good, then. Is it true Chris Leonard'll be having a turn at the Poetry Caff, then? I hope the paramedics are on standby - though I'm sure there are medications he can take for the spasms ( though he may not want to :) ). Having forgotten to set the video for the Brits shenanigans, it occurred to me that there are quite a lot of video-related goodies out there now, so if anyone fancies a trade for something (like I'd have anything they want, but here's hoping), please mail me privately. Susannah's back, then. To any new people who feel they should know what she's about, Susannah is the inspiration for the line "with your lewd and lascivious posts" (I'm sorry, I know I'm quoting someone from the list a few months ago, but I can't access the archive to check who it was) from ACRONYMSAREFUN. Sinister: for Toronto listees: northern soul night (Friday)

Hello, This is an open announcement to anyone who'd like to go to a lovely northern soul night this Friday. It's put on by the Soul Clan (silly name, but they're the nicest people in the world so it seems just right) and it's at the Rancho Relaxo on College St., just west of Spadina. Why not make it a Sinister night? I confess that I'd rather be sitting with people as I've been deserted by the person who usually joins me, but I do think there must be some people out there in T.O. who would love it. (jessicaxo?) Be prepared for photographs, cos I'm doing a feature on the DJ's for my magazine class, so dress up in your nicest outfits. Oh, and they put talcum powder on the floor too, so you can pretend you're really a soulie. Anyone interested can e-mail me, and we can try to do a meet there @ 10-ish sort of thing.
