This'll be the "game of gentlemen" then, that standard of public schools
otherwise known as "Soggy Biscuit" or "Creamed Crackers" etc. I sometimes
wonder whether that actually goes on or not, especially whether or not the
loser actually tucks into the aforementioned biscuit. When I had the subject
"Biscuit Boys" on my last post, this is really what I was referring to, glad
it's been picked up on. I didn't realise it was a pissed up bands thing mind
you - although I'll bet perhaps that 10CC and the Lovin' Spoonful have had a
shot.

Buttmunch? What grade are you in? Remember, tis better to remain
silent and be thought of as a fool, than to speak out and remove all
doubt.

How relevant is a New Order posting? How relevant are the many non-B&S
posts or, more specifically, your non-B&S posts scattered in the
archives? To answer your question, several people did know and
responded to the list.
> list? go and ask such questions elsewhere, on a more general music list,

Usenets are rampant with rumours and regarding listening to the radio,
well, where I live progressive/modern/alt rock (whatever the most
appropriate term is) radio is filled with Third Blind Eye and Matchbox
20. That says it all.
Tricia - Regarding the Cantina encounter, I'm not used to seeing you by
yourself. I was waiting for Andy, Kim and Thaian to pop up...

In a message dated 19/02/98 07:50:12 GMT, you write:
<< A spawny git? Ahhhh...
You would have to live in the fab uk to know.
Other people just don't have the insults we have, do they? Everyone else's
are a tad wishy-washy, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, spawny git is an insult. Say it to you friends >>
How is spawny git an insult? Its not an insult. If someone called me a spawny
git i wouldn't be insulted. How can you take it as an insult? spawny git? you
spawny git? thats no insult. if someone called you a spawny git they would be
trying to insult you they'd just be jealous about something. Its like you
jammy sod...spawny git. f'eh

i usually don't go to websites that people recommend. but i went to that
songmaker one and i'm still laughing as i type this.
here you go:
you're on my foot
Love is like a pissing hedgehog,
On a drunk frosty morning.
It makes your heart pound, like your nutsac bashing on a drum.
pissing in public, is just so easy,
'Cause love makes you blind.
I love you more than joey baltzell, loves their beanie weanies.
You see, cupid has hit me with his beanie weanies.
There is nothing I could do.
It's not something that can be put into words,
but, if I tried, then all could I say, is...
you're on my foot.
I'll show you off to my mam.
and she'll feed you fried beanie weanies for tea.
Your the best thing that has happened to me.
My nutsac is yours. Till next week.
You can tickle it, prod it whille pissing, because I love you.
Let's run naked in albequerque.
Let's tell everyone from the Queen to crackwhore about our love.
It's not something that can be put into words,
but, if I tried, then all could I say, is...
you're on my foot.

Hi
The most famous person in the world is surely the President of the USA, whoever
he might be at the time?
Do we actually have THE Stuart Murdoch writing to this mailing list?

I just had a great thought....
Belle & Sebastian guest starring on Friends. Playing a cover of 'Smelly
Cat' in Central Perk. I don't know why, it just sounds a good idea. Lack
of sleep and excess of beer, me thinks.
>The most famous person in the world is surely the

Na, some Americans don't even know who the president is. Or where Scotland
is. : )
>Right, now, Street Hawk or Knight Rider.
I vote Street Hawk. Why haven't they repeated that? And does anybody
remember a programme called Manammal, it was out around the same time. It
was about a guy who could change into a Hawk or a Panther. Nobody seems to
remeber it.
