I take it I'm missing something here but surely it should be "Le
Pastie De La Boulangerie"?? I checked & in our La Boulangerie they're
80p for meat & 70p for Cheese.
Seriously though, after turning the sleeves round & therefore covering
up the barcodes with price stickers we sold only 20 less Belle &
Sebastian EPs on monday than Spice Girls singles. We didn't sell a
single 12inch though. Am I alone in wondering why you can't put four
songs on a 7inch? Or at least make the 12inch the same price as the
CD single (ours are a pound dearer <- sorry Leslie)
As much as I detest cassette singles Woolworths won't stock a single
unless it's on tape and so although your average Woolworth's record
buyer won't know who Belle & Sebastian are your chart pisition is
altered because their sales play a big part in the chart as does
Asda's strangely.

Can someone e-mail me please about anything?
Belle and Sebastian are great!

Sextons, they're called sextons. I've got 12 years in
Catholic schools to thank for that knowledge.

I had the orange/brown t-shirt as well. Not one person commented on it when
I was in London last month. I went to Glasgow 3 days later for the
university open day thing, again no one said anything even though it was
crawling with students. I'm going to New York tomorrow so I'll try for
recognition there as well, somebody has to say something.

hey. this is just to let everyone know how much of a sad sack i am.
yesterday i was in Target trying to find some blank tapes, and across
the way from the electronics section, was the menswear department. now,
target isn't exactly the place you'd expect to find good clothes, but
damn they had some nice shirts in there, and they were all on sale (i
sound like a woman)...anyway, i spotted this blue pullover from afar and
went to expect it....it was blue velour with a little silky thing
towards the bottom, it wasn't a shirt, it's one of those pullover light
jacket things you wear when it starts to get cold. and it was only 19
bucks.
so now i can dress in blue velour and silk.
i need a hobby.

I was going to write a lengthy diatribe about Belle and her good
friend Sebastian, but I can't be arsed now.
Today is quite dull. I still haven't woken up yet.
Somebody wake me up.
Chris.
