another single, another single of the week in melody maker - "A musical box left playing in a long-abandoned nursery" etc it\'s getting almost tedious and a question to all of you who have real copies of tigermilk: is your copy very sibilant at the start? (do the high bits hiss? \'i wassss sssurprisssssed\'). mine does even when played on brand-spanking-new arm-and-a-leg turntable* (an early birthday present to myself). is it the master tapes d\'you think or a limitation of the vinyl (ie if they ever get around to doing cds will they be as bad or will they be better? or is it just my turntable (i hope not)) andy (still in london) oh, stephen, oon and mike, your tapes went off yesterday. i guess this was one of the bits that mr. murdoch wasn\'t too keen about. *a nad 533. Sinister: Felt samples

CALAMITY! Something terrible has happened! Oh, and I'm so afraid all those nice people who sent me lovely samples will be mad at me!!! I'm not sure WHAT I've done ('cos, as my Dad always says, " it's never the computer that does something wrong, it just follows up your commands"), but I've lost the wav- files, which means I can't open the attachments, which means I CAN'T LISTEN TO THE SAMPLES!!! On Monday everything worked fine, but then I didn't have any headphones. And now.... Would you be so kind as to send them again?
