The Patrick Suskind 'Perfume' book was also the favourite book of Kurt Cobain
by the way, _and_ Andy Bell of Erasure. What a coincidence eh ? it's a good
read too. Why I remember all this useless info I know not.
To get some B&S content into this mail, David & Katrina; are you making
anymore 'Judy...' mugs, or are they sadly a thing of the past ?
Any news on the thieving robbers too ?

Hola gente!
lado.
Muchisimas gracias, nos vemos en el Biarritz!

Listee Chris will oblige, perhaps you could introduce him to some of them,
he quite fancies a shag. Oh shit, that joke's just gone down the pan as I've
read the rest of your mail now... arse. - have to make something up about
"being surrounded by birds". You'll have to revoke carte blanche now Paul.
In all seriousness though, you could name them after numbers, that'd be the
easiest, I once met a guy who had two dogs, one called Rudie and the other
called Hess.
Indeed my flatmate used to have a cat called Mescherscmitt 109 (stop me
if you think you've heard this one before), which he took to the vet and on
filling in the form, put me109 down for the pet name (the usual
abbreviation) and the vet comes out and goes, "Can I see melog please?"
Cheers,
Keith.

Bonjour, Mon braves..
I've recently befriended several Cormorants (i'm the only fellow who
feeds them on this confounded Isle of Dogs...) and i wonder, could any
of you suggest suitable names for
them?
(Anyone suggesting 'Belle' and 'Sebastian' will receive one of those
smiley face bracket and colon things in the shape of a punch, and any
earnest boys suggesting 'Isobel' really
ought to consider getting a girlfriend and selling their Field Mice
collection...)
I could continue with Hey! Cormorant (it's rather risky bellowing Hey!
Mr.Shag in the East End) but it does seem rather impersonal....

Ah the good old indie clubs of Edinburgh. Does FBI still exist? I spent
many a wondrous teenage weekend dancing along to the delights of Wheres me
jumper etc. Another query, How about the status of Evol, now there was a
good Indie club, I don't think I've ever found anything quite like it.
Actually I'll compliment one of our listees by saying that the egg is
porbably the best I've been to since.
I think I'm actually getting nostagic about being sixteen, no that was
when I used to go to Katch, the less said about that the better.
Oh I'll put a bit of B&S content in here. Isn't La pastie... a great tune?
Ciao,
Claire.

The band name was probably inspired by the working title of the B&S debut
album, namely _Cock Fun_ ... and if that doesn't give you any idea you
wouldn't want to know about a proper explanation anyway.

I'm sure there was also some other anti-gyres stuff. Like The Gyres must
die...their hair. Never saw their tee-shirts but was never too fussed.
Bye bye, bye bye.
Claire, ever so slightly bored as can probably be seen by amount of mails
sent to the list today...

Chris and Mick still rate it as the best thing they've done, as I would too
really, so it's a bit of an arse that the right honourable Mr.Murdoch
continues to deny people listening to it... hmm who knows having said that,
tricky question, he did write it, suppose it is up to him.
I'd guess that it's basically down to the ridiculous interest in the
band that having an unavailable LP produces.
The new stuff sounds better than If you're feeling sinister mind you.
Something odd struck me regarding B+S the other day, in that when If you're
feeling sinister came out, it was like one of the best bands in ages had
released 2 LP's in 6 months which was amazing, however since then, hardly a
new song in sight, what are they playing at!
Cheers,
Keith.
Just ranting really, sorry, hungover again.
