Sorry (again) - this isn't B&S but IRC admin stuff. Please bear with me
as it's the only way to catch everyone. If we had more B&S news now I
would feel less guilty.
We've had so much hassle from hackers and fools I'm going to hide the two
rooms for a trial period of two weeks - this means they will become
"secret" and you have to know they exist to find them so you won't see
them in a list. Just type "/join #Sinister". Any BIG objections mail
me.

I'm a man of mystery, I want to leave people wondering.
Much preferable to starting slanging matchesŠ
Nah! Scrub the above, I'll be a miserable git today:
>as you all think I am a miserable Radiohead loving gimboid I
>reccommend the Catatonia kit.
I think I'll give that a miss judging the bloody awful "Mulder
and Scully" single they've just released. Why all the Hyperbole
surrounding Catatonia? Why do they have a cat singing on this tune?
Simon Collins said regarding the divine Beth Orton:
>I saw The mighty Beth at T in the Park last summer. It was absolutely
>gorgeous : the other 30 000 were watching Paul Weller strut his rather
>lame stuff,ŠŠŠŠŠŠŠŠŠŠŠMiss Orton, her voice and 500 believers. oh.
Are you sure there were as few as that?
My girlfriend and I were there too. I had this bloody great big light
shining right in my face most of the set. I think we got a good deal
versus standing out in the ankle-high mire being bored to tears by the
Modfather.
No B&S content, other than that I've been naughty and haven't been
listening to them very much lately. Apart from a late night craving
for "Judy and the Dream of Horses" last Thursday.
I think I'll go and top up with "Photo Jenny".
Byeee!
The Lairdster.
ARGHHHHHHH! Somebody's nicked me LLPJ! - sob, sob.
looks like it'll have to wait while I do some detective work.

Anyone in the Washington, DC area that wishes to join other B&S

others look like) please come to the Fox & Hounds lounge located in
Dupont Circle at 17th & Q on Saturday January 24. We are trying to
meet around 7:30 or so. If interested let me know.

No, hold back, it's not news that the band are playing three matinee
gigs in Dublin castle. Unfortunately...
I was just in HMW trying to beg for a part-time job. I'm fed up of
working in bars. And I wandered about looking for something to grab my
attention when all I could see was IYFS on the listening booth style thing.
Wow a free listen, not like I have to pay to listen to the album anyway.
Gosh Dublin is finally catching on.
And they are selling it for the bargin price of IRpounds 15.49 !!! This
is in the store who three months ago had never even heard of them.
Shit I need to go to work..
Bye, Claire.

I was there too. While my friends watched Weller and my girlfriend, the
seahorses, I stood in the front row, directly in front of her, in a daze.
Beautiful stuff indeed. It was the highlight of the weekend. Just a shame
they wouldn't let her play an encore.
John.

That wouldn't make sense, why should I name reliable sources when I hear
such stuff by the concerned individuals themselves ?

Your secret ?!? Robert Forster asked me personally to represent his
interests in the forthcoming law suit, since his hairstyle has been
patented, the man is afraid to loose his Redken commercials, let alone his
wife. I've told him to ... sorry, telephone, hang on ... oh boy, that was X
from Kenickie ... what am I supposed to tell those guys ?

You must have had those filth-tinted muso-shades on again....it's

Don't you get a night in the cells for solicitations of that kind?

as well, y'know.
Can I send some childishly-drawn pics instead?

Lots of people have been going on about Air, and the singles they
have had out. I got a 12" (also available on CD, I think) called
Premiers Symptoms, and it has 5 tracks on it. I got it in John
Smiths, Glasgow where Stephen Pastel works, and it had a sticker on
the front that he wrote, to the effect that it was the first 5
releases from Air collected together, with 'no lame remixes'. If you
want to investigate more than the album- which I'm going to buy
today- then it's excellent.
And on a French electronic pop connection, does anyone else like Kid
Loco? He's quite similar to Air, and absolutely lovely.
Oh, and I have photographic evidence that Steven Welles is in fact
the devil. A truely nasty piece of work.
Sorry to go off B%S topic, or rather remain off it, but does anyone
have the address for the Pastels website. The one I scribbled from
somewhere doesn't work, and searces just get me stuff about painting
and decorationg.
