Here are several french groups I can recommend : - Autour de Lucie, the both albums "L'échappée belle" et "Immobile" - Louise Attaque, fabulous - Tanger And a non french group i'm listening since friday evening when i bought it : The Verve : Urban hymns And now the questions : 1- When will 3,6,9 seconds of light be available ? 2- Why B&S is called B&S ? After discovering Belle and Sebastian in April I went out and bought some Felt. Really liked their instrumentals a great deal. I think I have every CD now 'cept for "Primitive Painters". That title has eluded me. is it true that Belle And Sebastian are the main characters in Beauty and the Beast? is this not where the inspiration came for the band's name? why has Urban Hymns been released in other countries but not here until tomorrow! Sinister: Lilac Time for B&S.

We've been speaking of Lilac Time, and some of you like them, so I came up with an idea for someone: I have all 4 of the Lilac Time releases, including the promo only record, "Welcome to Hell, Here's your accordion" which has some great b-sides (four, I think). So I thought perhaps I could trade someone a dub of their discography, or a best of, or whatever, for a dub of the precious Tigermilk. Lilac Time are relatively hard to come by in the U.S., since their entire catalogue has been deleted. Astronauts wasn't even released over here, so it may be a treat for someone. Of course, there may be a soul out there who absolutely hates the Lilac Time, yet still wants to help me out :-). In this case I can only say, "I have a lot of cd's. Pick some." (act 1 scene 1) (brad is dutifully mopping up after a long night of making pizzas for undeserving people. there is a look of scorn on his face because he wasn't supposed to be at work this late and all his friends are waiting for him, but one of the other employees decided they wanted to be "sick", thus, leaving brad to carry the load.)
