Sinister: Sessions

Hi, Like probably almost everyone else on the list, I would love to listen to the sessions but I'm at work being clerk junior, bated to stay with the promise of a better position. But that's okay because the list cheers me up. Anyway, on to the begging. Please please please email me if you're feeling generous and loving towards your fellow belle and sebastian fan and would like to do a trade, send postage, send trinkets and stories. being a new adoring fan, I bought Sinister first and found it hard to get into TBWTAS but I just bought 3 6 9 seconds of light and found it really helped me figure out TBWTAS ... Century of Fakers is my new favorite song ... Beautiful a close second, having known people like that myself. Nothing more to say on related topics, except I was always jealous of Daphne in Scooby Doo for being so pretty, and I could see how Mighty Mouse could be a turn on. Have a lovely day everyone. Sinister: Radio Session in France

I just repeat with more details : Belle & Sebastian will do a radio session in the Bernard Lenoir's Show on the french radio called France Inter on october 5th, the day before the Paris gig. Do you know Paris ? It's a lovely little city in France. Do you know France ? It's a lovely lit... well okay. Belle & Sebastian will just play. No interview, just music during 50 minutes. The show is broadcasted live on AM band (162 kHz), so you can listen to it in most countries in Europe (especially in Britain, and for sure in London). Bernard Lenoir will not kill me if I compare his show to the famous John Peel's radio show on BBC One. Yesterday PJ Harvey did one of these famous "black sessions" (black, because "Lenoir" means black in french). For you to know, the next black sessions will be : 24.sep.98 Hefner 05.oct.98 Belle And Sebastian 06.oct.98 Baby Bird 27.oct.98 Placebo 17.nov.98 Boo Radleys But you will also be able to listen to this session on the web : http://www.eutelsat.org/radio/1012.html The radio session will start at 9.30 Paris time (8.30 in UK). I will OF COURSE tape it, but it will be difficult for me to send many copies... Sinister: my idea of fun

once again, i'm sort of between classes, enjoying the final moments of my lunch break listening to b&s. it was imminently easy to choose to write email over doing something like homework. gag me with a spoon. but i think i may be using improper writing today. that's because i'm going to my writing class too, and it's imperitive that i speak like one of my early neanderthal ancestors in preparation. it probably doesn't help that most of my teachers only have a tentitive hold on english anyway. i'd llike to congratulate the non-native english speakers on the list for their masterful grasp of english. i never realized how badly it could be spoken and the speaker still getting to teach at a university. apparently, i think too highly of higher education. anyway, on a far more interesting note, in reference to the title of mr miller's latest post, the seductive ms kitt gives personal safety messages regarding seat belts in new york taxis. i think this is a fascinating topic for conversation. everyone should take a taxi just for that, though i can't be held responsible just for that. so content, um, i'm listening to the album. xox megan mkl206(a)is8.nyu.edu visit the magnetic fields web page at: http://www.dissemination.com/megan/magneticfields/ +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list please mail "sinister(a)majordomo.net". Sinister: Top night

Hi sinisters, at 21:30 there will be the special of B&S , so i want to tell you how i'll spend my night today. At 21:00 , with my car , i'll go in a beautiful hill and i'll put the car in direction of a big aerial. At 21:15 my girlfriend, with Passi and his girlfriend , will come in this hill with 4 pizza and some bottle of beer. We'll eat very fast and at 21:30 i'll put the radio of my car in 162kh ; subsequently i'll put my finger in the aerial of my car and magically we 'll be connected with france. Tomorrow at 9:00 i'll have an exame.NO PROBLEM! 1) Belle and Sebastian. 2) Exame. Cheers. Despite his best efforts, it's a depressing book, you'd be better off with "Blue Movie" by Terry Southern. Nick's family didn't contribute because they're dead as well, except his sister. Tribute album - I seem to remember a bunch of freaks doing something similar for/at Elvis Costello via our beloved internet. Perhaps someone would like to get in touch with said freaks to find out how they did it. I think it's a terrible idea, but I hope you all prove me wrong. I think Elvis liked it. Has anyone been to see Poorly Paul? Adrian, how was Depeche Mode? We've entered a competiton to win tickets to see them here. Boy, I feel lucky today! Joss wrote: And buy 'Here My Dear'. Apparently there's flooding in Tallahasee, and he drove two hours from Georgia to there... I don't know. Was that the recently published biography? I've been wondering how that is.....would have to special order it out here, so no chance of returning it if it's awful.
