It wuz released as part uh a Stow College course whereby Alan Rankine (of de Associates) fronts down de cash to reco'd some sin'le every year, aldough wid Belle and Sebastian dey decided dat dere wuz enough material fo' an album, hence Tigermilk. Dere wuz only 1000 copies pressed and so's de reco'd be wo'd some lot uh bre'd now. De band gots' always mantained dat Tigermilk will be re-released at some point, and dis gots'ta definitely be da damn case, currently likesly dat about March 1999, aldough dis may change. What it is, Mama! 2. Who be de guest sin'a' on Lazy Line Painta' Jane? De female sin'a' on Lazy Line Painta' Jane be Monica Queen, fo'merly of countryish Glasgow band Drum. 'S coo', bro. Drum released some reco'd some few years ago, about 1994 ah' dink. Last ah' heard she wuz reco'din' wid ha' own band which be called "Monica", o' at least dat's whut it wuz called in February 1997. Here's some list uh releases. "Purify" 7", "Drum" / "Here ah' am" / "So glad" 12"/CDs and da damn "Rifferama" LP/CD 3. What be "Elvis" in A Century uh Elvis. One uh de guys who ran de studio wuz Alan Rankine, uh Stow College, and Electric Honey Reco'ds, which be where he came in. 'S coo', bro. Bloody hell I never thought I'd post one of these, but you see kids I had a B&S DREAM. Oh jesus... I was trying to explain to someone, possible Rachel, most probably Sandy, that 'A Summer Wasting' was actually a cover, of a Pixies song..to prove it, I played the original, which started off all sweetly with mr Black Francis crooning 'Summer and winter' etc and then shrieking I SPENT THE SUMMER WASTING with Pixies style r!o!c!k! backing.. In case you're interested, it was played at about the speed of 'The Happening', and it was far far superior to the original. Can anyone do me a CD of this cos I'd love to hear it again. Hey all. I'm a new chick, both to the list and the band, and I just want to tell you all that no less than 12 HOURS after the BU show I will be having an art history midterm in THAT VERY AUDITORIUM! So if any of you want to tape cheat sheets under the seats for me, or just leave me fun things to amuse myself during the test, I usually sit near the front on the right side, close to the door. Humph... Maybe if I pretend I left a book in there after this morning's class, they'll let me sneak in to the show to "look for it"? hello DUDES & DUDETTES, I called the Ticketmaster today and I was been informed that the B&S show is now an ALL AGE SHOW... Also..we now have two meet venues for Saturday Oct.24 Here's the first one: Time: 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM Venue: In front of CLUB MONACO store (Toronto Eaton Centre- just corner of Yonge & Dundas)..It's a big store and you won't miss it.. Now for people who can't make it on time (after 6:30 PM) ...will gonna have to go directly to the bar called "PUBLIC LIBRARY" ..Matthew will be there early for company... Directions to the bar is provided below... So I'll wait for you guys in fron of Club Monaco until 6:30 pm... After that we can go for drinks at the Public Library.. BY THE WAY, ****************************************** Second Venue: 6:30 to 7:30 PM >From the North end of the Eaton Centre (CLUB MONACO) you walk 2 blocks east on Dundas. You'll pass a Tim Horton's, then Victoria street, then a Hakim optical and there it is on the north side of Dundas. You can see it from the Hard Rock. The first floor is a dump so remember to go upstairs (it's a dump up there too, but a cozy dump)!
