Hello perverts, Oh first kisses I don't think there was any music (though I wish wish wish B&S had been there). But the first time I masturbated, hmm... har, har. Really I don't know. BUT, the first time I had sex my boyfriend played EMF "Unbelievable" afterwards - so that was pretty nice, if a bit obvious and loud. And it's still a kickass song (or maybe I am biased by nostalgia.) Anyway, a very short note w/o b&s content except to say that there is a new stereo in my house and tigermilk sounds ever so much more amazing when not bogged down in crappy 1992 sanyo ghettoblaster sound. I lurk because I work (I would much rather live virtually in this list, no, that's a lie, no, that's half truth). P.S. Looper was good in Vancouver, but Stu did not have his night goggles on and complained about the lack of good clip-on lighting. Oh well, a good show despite the bit of grumpiness. It may be the feverish cold...or the extra large slurpee from 7.11 giving me a large sugar buzz ...but I have decided to break the silent observing and write... I like being a silent observer...there were two things that my friends told me they wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, my taste in men (wimpy, gangly, stringbean nerd boys...)and my taste in music...so music was always a very private thing for me...while all the others were running around in sprinklers as a child I was in the house fingering all the little grooves in my dad's large record collection and staring at the celing with the brown cushioned earphones blasting the Zombies, the Velvet Underground, the Who...., the stones....whatever my gready ears could get a hold of...which didn't quite make me the most popular kid in school...that and the fact that I was 6' tall by the time I was in grade 5...to dispell all the rumours that B&S fans are short and cute (I am rather tall and weird looking)... Ermmmm, anyhooo...I ran into b&s by accident a few years ago while connecting fm a Stereolab site...and ran out and bought iyfs and ripped the pacaging off so fast that I nearly broke the cover opening the casing....anyhoooo, la da da...not surprising that I haven't been able to walk down the street whistling some B&S song for years... Well...reached the bottom of my slurpy...and haven't really written anything relavent...but the reason why I wrote all this shite is that the reason why I read all your mail everyday is that it is nice to know that there are other freaks like me out there...(hmmmm, how is that for warm and fuzzy feelings...) And by the way, the Looper show in Toronto was excellent...even though I managed to find the only people taller then me in the room to stand behind...*sigh*... aaarrghhhh.... i believe in reincarnation and i believe that i was a very bad person in my previous life. I wonder what i could have possibly done. Murder, theft, debauchery? Was i perhaps a pirate, or a mafia hit man, a tax man, maybe. I shall never know, but it is ruining my very repentent present life, I can assure you. Strange, cruel coincidences are around evey corner, I tell you! I haven't left my house today for fear of what is next. It's good to have all you people's lovely posts to read in the meantime. I shall not contribute my two cents to the hot topic of the day. I am quite shy and blush often. do you believe in fate? i never did, but i am re-thinking my point of view. and i also think i must have broken some mirrors and let some naughty black cats cross my path. oh boo hoo. lurker? i don't think that's a very nice term for infrequent posters. Hello People, Umm.. Do to the recent rash organized and proper labeled and sectioned e-mails, and the more recent irrelevant labels, i will follow my nature of rebelling against conformity and will not include any labels and try to make this message as chaotic as possible. Yes well, thank you. oh wait i have something else to say. To the non-posters... Yes well, this is only my third post, and already i am not checking my spelling, so it is just the matter of being comfortable. And Good for you i say. Because really people that post a lot are very arrogant! Including myself. (wait read on) I have been writing for some time now. (irrelevant Short sci-fi stories) and writing is the most horridly arrogant career avilible. To think that what you have to write is important enough that over a thousand people would want to read it. Besides i always thought that B&S listeners were shy because of environmental extremities that come with listening to the music. Why would the Internet be any different than "real" life. Sinister: i lurk therefore i am

well list folk, i am finally over the hay fever i contracted whilst up in massachusetts for the looper show. i was back home on cape cod for a few days and it got to me rather fierce and i was worried about transmitting it to all of you through a post. umm, anyway, the show was fantastic. i got there super early because i couldn't hook up with my friends at the appointed time and place because as i was on the bus to boston we were detoured due to the rte. 128 overpass on rte. 3 northbound was crumbling, so i was an hour and a half late. so i just took the t to the middle east and drank beer and had some nice veggie grape leaves for two hours before they let me in. i think it was the beer that i had consumed that caused me to accept my friend sean's (who is also on the list and lurking) gift of a cardboard crown from burger king, which i wore with reckless abandon. yes, that was me up front and to the right of the stage. i don't post that often as my life in san antonio, texas is kind of like albert finney's in "saturday night and sunday morning", although i don't get into fights, and i'm not currently shtupping anybody, let alone a married woman. and let alone the married women i shall. you have my word. however, i shall be in london, and subsequently paris, for a time in september. perhaps this will provide fodder for posts of my exploits. i get in london on the 23rd of september. yes, i realize i'm missing that bowlie II thing by only a few days. shitty planning on my part. until later, ta ta! thom _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
