hallo peeps I'm afraid I've joined the ranks of the depressed and so thought that I should spread the depression around by inflicting another mail on you lot but rest assured that I won't go into my depressing story about last night cos I dont feel up to talking about it. I will tell you however that me and sweetie have been cooking up plans for a possible stirling meet up and that we have decided on a party at my chalet as her tender years will stop her having lots of fun in bars with us. The party idea is good though as it means we get bowlie-esque chalets and so I can call it all tomorrows potterings or something (any good ideas for a name should be mailed to me) and then everyone can just stay over before crawling home the next day. Mail me if you're interested and I'll get details to you when I have any to give. Oh and if the glasgow lot don't show an interest then I'm gonna beat you all up. Speaking of Glasgow I was there today for a careers fair, I stilldont know what I'm gonna do with my life when I finish uni but at least I got to buy a copy of Nalda Said which I read on the train back and then finished this afternoon. I think there may be a few people here who want to read it so I wont talk about the plot but I can recommend it to you all Its really good. I'm pretty sure that I've forgotten to say something I meant to say but as I've forgotten it you'll have to do without it. Sinister: My arse is mud

Hi poptarts, I feel I must share this with you. Today I feel embarrassed. I was walking across a lawn at college today, lawn that was 2 parts grass and 3 parts mud, when my eye caught something. A girl, very attractive with ample bosoms. I smiled at her and then it happened. Because I took my gaze off of where I was going and on to her chest I failed to navigate around a very slippy bit of mud. And so I fell, arse over tit. I landed on my bottom and it really hurt. She rushed over and picked me up, I think I turned red. Later of embarrassment but then, erm, I winded my self in the presence of this goddess. she was very nice and even stayed with me until I could breath again. But I can't help but feel like an arse. My trousers were covered in mud and I had to go home with a muddy arse. Sadly I couldn't ask for her number, not that she'd give it to a Frank Spencer like me. I just couldn't do it, no really, I really couldn't. I physically couldn't. Ah well. Right, Mrs Williams has agreed to make some scones and cream, old Ralph Jones had agreed to donate the last few barrels of cider to the beer tent and the Vicar is going to announce the events so please turn up. But what is all this for? Well, we're gonna have ourselves a telethon. Honey needs a robot dog and we're the people to do it - no really. cripes, i'm writing a lot lately aren't i? anyway, i was glad to see jason andreas is feeling better, tho i never got around to telling him i voted for him for list crush yesterday, despite his abhorrent behavior on the radiohead email list. ;) of course, that behavior may have been the result more of the people on the list, and not jason himself. some of those people . . . jeez. anyway, talked to the ex boyfriend last night. i hadn't talked to him in a couple weeks, and late last night i check my email and there's something from him saying that he misses me badly and tried calling but nobody answered. the fact that nobody answered confuses me, because i had my cordless with me all last night, and the batteries weren't dead, which would make me think i'd gotten a lemon except that my mother called me and that worked no problem. maybe he tried calling the house phone. that one's busted. anyway, so like an idiot i call him back and end up in an hour long tear fest, trying not to tell him that i don't love him anymore. it was rather painful. yeah, i miss him and everything, but he's sitting there asking me if i want to go on a date (!) with him, and all i could say was that i didn't think it was a good idea. now i'm very confused about my feelings. hmph. i did tell him that i kissed seth, though. i was worried it would get back to him through some chain of the boston brit pop scene, most likely beginning with a drunk teri (no offense, girly) and ending with a drunk roommate named ariel. but i'm listening to the halo benders and i'm appreciating this album a lot today. more than usual. i feel like i'm hearing more of it and from a different perspective, as well. it's strange, but quite pleasant. oh, and the album is "god don't make no junk". i have yet to get their second album. i've got the third, tho, and despite my sister saying it wasn't that great i like it a lot. but no album without "don't touch my bikini" can hold a candle to "god don't make no junk." and if you've never heard "don't touch my bikini," go out to your local record store that lets you listen to the stuff before you buy it and listen to it. song number 2 on "god don't make no junk" by the halo benders. it's brilliant. now that i'm done ranting about a band that is *so* not belle and sebastian, maybe i should include a little b&s content. maybe not. ooooooh, i feel like i'm being naughty. wow. i really need a fuck. *sigh* i'll shut up now. -kerry "there is something you should know: the girl of your dreams is here all alone." -morrissey, "southpaw" +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the reborn Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail "sinister(a)majordomo.net". ...None actually, cos I've just started watching. Wasn't the one this morning that looked like a cross between a hippo and a mushroom stuffed into an egg cute? Anyhow, I found a poster last night on the way to the buses on Oxford Road. It was advertising a Belle and Sebastian themed disco at the Star and Garter (in Manchester) on Wednesday, November 17th. (not to be confused with the night where Richard will be DJ'ing at Smile, which is at the S&G on Saturday Nov. 6th) In small print, it said it would play other songs as well, which is good. But it's at the Star and Garter on a Wednesday, which is bad. Mainly because the regulars in the bar downstairs are probably scarier on a weeknight. I'm very curious as to who's running it though -- anyone know? It's a Sinister LAYDEEZ weekend starting tomorrow in London. Bingo, shopping, videos and kick-ass Sunday lunch is on the agenda, with Pam Berry acting as top hostess. Sezzie wanted us to have a Ann Summers rep come by on Saturday night, but we managed to talk her out of it. love, elisabeth p.s I hope the squirrels keep her.
