Eak..... HERE I COME!!! Out of um...the sinister room? ;) Anyways, I WILL keep this short as i am sure many of you don't find Pippi as interesting as i do right now... I have looked everywhere that i can think of that would possibly hold any ORIGINAL copies of Pippy Lonstocking vidoe(s) (Inger Nilsson). Coming up with nothing every time. It might seem a bit silly to some that i am carry it on this far, but if anyone has any idea's of where any or all of the copies are being hidden, i would be the happiest little Holly on the planet! Well until i find something else that's being hidden on me :) Right,... oh! Sinister: new york picnic final stuff

Sinister: Butt arrests cement, wolves crash

The title is a note I actually wrote today while editing the latest smash hit episode of "Sheeep" (sic). Sometimes I wonder what the hell I'm doing. Bad day. Very bad day. I can't remember the last time I actually believed I was good at my job. Grrr. My boss is impossible, my memory's fuzzy, my office is sweltering and my motivation is a self-defeating paradox. Poor Miss Vicky is still off work with her horrific ankle injury - hours away from gangrene, I reckon - and I don't half envy her. Having never thrown a sickie in my life, I feel darn close to throwing one now, except for the fact that I'd spend the whole day not knowing what to do and feeling pointlessly, faultlessly guilty. Guilt sucks. Mental blocks suck too. So does wondering what other career you could switch to and realising that you don't have a clue what else you could do. I like to think I'm quite anal, so perhaps I could make lists all day (no, on second thoughts I prefer to leave that for my free time). Perhaps I could form a band? Perhaps I could get my four track to work. Perhaps I could email all my lovely friends who I've been ignoring lately. Perhaps I could write, like, proper letters to all my other non-wired friends who I've been ignoring lately. Perhaps I should go for retail therapy. But what do I want? A dishwasher. No, really. My parents say it's a stupid idea - someone living on their own shouldn't have a dishwasher, and perhaps they're right. But you waste valuable loafing time washing up... Perhaps I should become a whiny self-conscious novelist. This is the kind of thing they seem to write on their oh-so-important first page, revealing the pattern for the self-indulgent self-centered self-pity you just know you're going to find within. But I can't write, as I'm rather depressingly finding out. Gosh, I am a moody old bugger today! Just what over 1,000 of you needed. Sorry about that. I'm still here. I'm sorry for the stacks of photos, subscription requests, and others things people have mailed me that I haven't responded to yet, and I'm sorry the search on the Sinister WWW page has been out of sorts, a bit like me. I'm fixing it just now (inevitably enough, by removing the "added features" I put in before which broke it) so it should hopefully be back permanently in a couple of hours. I'll work through your mails I've received as I can, but they'll all be tended to with loving care when I get round to them and not chucked in the bin, oh no. Just like God, not a sparrow falls without me noticing, it's just I'm a bit slow actually picking it up, brushing it off and giving it a little worm at the moment. My own, dear Sinisterines, A few more little stabs at coherence, then I'm off. Did any of you London listees see the Evening Standard yesterday? My eye was caught by a large photo of a young boy hugging an enormous white furry dog on the front page, with the caption "William Dowell with Cassis, his beloved two-year old Pyrenean mountain dog.. "My goodness", I thought, "does Belle & Sebastian's media infiltration know no bounds?" The story in fact had little to do with Madame Whats-her-name's adorable yarns about big white dogs and boys. It was instead a sad tale of those heartless bureaucrats flying in the face of public outrage and moral decency. But still, it was a great B&S moment, of sorts. Hello, My email address is now deceptive, as well as being embarrassing, I am back in the burbs! And I can still read Sinister, which is a treat, however I still miss out on everything, i.e. traipsing out to bleedin Berkshire for a partee on the London picnic weekend. D**n! Is anyone coming out to celebrate Tigermilk day? I dont intend to hide from everyone, honest. Instead I have been a solitary figure of tweeness in incongruous surroundings. I will insist on being clad in my stow shirt whenever I visit my local its a very gruff Lahndahn boozer that serves lethally strong ale and shows obscure foreign footie on the telly and Saturday brings the piss (in a bottle) de resistance. I am going, (cos I am a very kind girlfriend and it is my more metal halfs birthday) to the Big Day Out at Milton Keynes Bow,l to thrill to the sounds of Minstry, Marilyn Manson and Metallica and several other flavours of rawk. I quake in dread. Can anyone recommend any good earplugs cos I do want to see the make up and explosions but I think the music will be tedious Monster Magnet anyone? On the other hand, do you think it would be rude of me to bring a book and wrap think bandages around my ears? Would I get moshed or ignored? I am preparing in advance by lounging around in my flares next to my wind chimes listening to my mums Love LP. Hence the title. I am merging twee and hippy arent I? But I am stocking up reserves of calm and beauty before the metal onslaught. If Im begging, and this is very lazy of me, if anyone knows owt about QPR or Watford FC and would like to help me with my research for work, I would be very grateful. This seems to be a very brit-centric email, Im afraid. Cos I was just going to say how strange it is that the music press is more obsessed with B+S than we are. This months Select is LITTERED with references, both in a cool name-dropping a slightly obscure but trendy band and in a short-hand for weediness way. It seriously hampers my chances of developing another topic of conversation. But hey, thats everybody elses problem, right? Actually in Select there is a bizarre advert for Tigermilk that seems to be advertising Mary Jo, not as a single, but simply the fact that when Tigermilk is released we will all be able to hear the song, which is nice, but unusual. I dont remember anyone else doing that. But I dont remember much. Theres a great pic of a little girl pulling a face, anyway. Mmmmm, one of my holiday resolutions was to write better posts, this is certainly LONGER than usual. Anyway it will be good if anyone types Monster Magnet into the archive search, wont it (whoops, now I get seven posts referring me politely to the convoluted metal debate 6 months prior to my arrival on the list, dont I? Sorry). T-bag, and T-shirt, humm. There's been talk recently of Looper t-shirts and where to get them, I would like it to be known that I can make Looper t-shirts, or any other t-shirt for that matter. Baseball caps, badges even novelty glow in the dark Lazy Line Painter Jane caps, deer stalker, what sort of bloke do you take me for. The joke is that you can't go deer hunting in a glow in the deer stalker cap. I also do a nice line in comedy his and hers prophylactic's. For that Ice Breaker moment. Sinister: Calling all Blaggers (UK Listees only, I'm afraid)

You know in venues and clubs and things, they have those big "Rock Boxes" with big advertising posters in, well this week they have TIGERMILK posters in (well the ones in Cheltenham do, and from what I've seen they tend to be the same around the country). So go down to your nearest friendly venue and ask if you can have one (the venues get to keep the posters when they are finished with them). I've got mine reserved :) I **might** be able to get a spare one, no promises.
