Hey kids, I'm not sure if anyone will care or not, but NBC's version of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment will air this Sunday, October 11th, at 9PM PST/EST. Its one of my, if not THE, favorite novels I've ever read, and it looks like the made for TV adaptation might actually be pretty good. Patrick Dempsey plays Raskolnikov, and it also stars Ben Kingsley (Zamitov maybe?) and Julie Delpy (Sonya, I think). Anyway, this is entirely not related to B+S (unless you count the line from Modern Rock Sock) but I thought some of you scholarly kids out there might have liked the book and cared to see the movie. Alright, now I'm off to get a "Crunchy Peanut Butter" Cliff Bar. I don't know if they have these in the UK, but I could seriously live off of them. I admit that I was one of the guilty ones who said look in the archives, but I stopped that after a couple of days when even I had got sick of it, so Sarahs little outburst was a little delayed, but I see her point. Sorry. But Funkyseb, you can't hate me just because I live in a county neighbouring yours. It is not my fault the way that some Sussexers ( or what ever the collective noun is for us who live in Sussex) travel to Kent for a Sunday drive or whatever, and besides I hardly think I have to go to Kent ( the whole 10 miles away that is from my house) for a rural pub. Every single sodding village around where I live has at least 2 pubs, sometimes there are pubs without villages, just shoved in the middle of nowhere, just because there used to be an old road there to go to London. Hello; it have not cried to a song since stoneroses "Waterfall" but i happened today...and it was to "The dirty dream number two"... I would be the happiest boy in the world if someone (from Sweden or Scandinavia or whatever) could tape all non-album-tracks to me and sent it...it return (of course) i send you a fabolous tape... Someone must help me... I would trade my girlfriend for such a tape... even my St Bernard..... almost....
